Eligible non-profit service providers receive 25% back from all donations raised by the team.
Eligible 501(c)(3) non-profit autism direct service providers in South Florida have the opportunity to create a walk team and receive 25% back from all donations raised by the team. Funds received by the effort are to be used in support of special needs programming and services at the organization.
To be eligible for the 25% reimbursement, non-profit autism direct service provider teams need to meet the following:
1) Have a registered team participating in the WalkAbout Autism & Expo and raise a minimum of $100.00. All donations collected by the team must be submitted by to The Dan Marino Foundation by 03/01/2017
2) Must substantially serve the South Florida area and provide direct services to the autism community
3) Provide proof of 501(c)(3) status
**Note: Individual participants interested in having their DMF WalkAbout Autism & Expo fundraising efforts benefit a participating autism direct service provider agency are able to do so only as direct members of that organization's team. Reimbursement opportunity is only available for participating Pre-K to 12th Grade School & Non-Profit Autism Direct Service Provider teams.
